Question about what will follow

I'm a southern girl who hasn't lived in the North (Ohio) since I was a small kid. Got a question. Since there seems to be so much more snow this year than in past years, what happens come spring? Sould be expect a glut of flooding as Spring melts the snow?

thats what you would expect but It usually will take a long time to melt unless there is a major warm up.
