Tornadic supercells developing in Eastern MS, moving into West AL. Tornado Warning for Pickens County, AL. Could be a long-tracker. Another signature more impressive to the SSW.

It's going to be a long afternoon.

Hey Brent, hunker down!! Man it is ripe down here in the FL Panhandle, but so far we have been pretty lucky. I spoke with a buddy of mine in Florala, AL, you had reported about damage there. Florala is about 40 minutes from FWB. He tends to believe it has more to do with straight line winds than a tornado. Anyways, stay safe man

TWC interview shows the enterprise medical center was also hit by a strong wind or tornado. This is where the kids are being taken from the also hit HS.

First day of spring and already a high risk warning (Even a PDS as well). Is this the first one that high this year? I've seen a few moderates when I've checked the SPC site.

Right now it's just cloudy and very windy outside,so far we've been spared of the really bad stuff.NWS in Mobile said that a squall line should develop and come through the area later this afternoon and could bring damaging winds.Hope everyone stays safe and be sure to have those NOAA radios on especially into tonight.

I have a feeling that either Atlanta or Montgomery is going to get hit hard.

Yes, here try this: http://www.al.com/abc3340/video/index.ssf

TOR for Tuscaloosa county. Will be near Tuscaloosa and Holt at 3:15 CST. However, exact location is impossible to pinpoint due to radar beam and tilt of storm with height.

Hope this beast weakens quickly.

WTVY 4 in Dothan is reporting that a news crew in Enterprise is seeing kids "bloody and running around helpless" at the high school. Also reporting the football field and back half of the school totally destroyed. EMS on scene but downtown is "like a warzone". Again its tough to differentiate between fact and fiction at this point.

Sorry to switch tracks for a second, but I have to say that this kind of wording in news reports is absolutely cruel. I have children and I can't imagine hearing this situation, put this way, about my kids' school.

That being said, I am hoping and praying for everyone being affected by these storms. Thanks to everyone for keeping those of us that can't follow this posted.
