First Talking Tropics Show of 2007
Internet Parthnership Radio
Above is the link that you have to go to hear the first Talking Tropics show of 2007 on March 1rst.It has been since the show of November 30th,the 2006 season ending show, that we haved not heard from Mike Watkins. But as the hurricane season draws closer,he is back with many themes that I am sure are going to be on the plate for the next few weeks as we wait for June 1rst to arrive. For sure Mike will talk in his first 2007 show about El Nino ending, the SST's and anomalies in the Atlantic, the new Hurricane Center Director and more themes.

Mike, one of the main themes to discuss has to be the somewhat surprising statement from NOAA regarding La Nina.Surprise not for what they are saying, but because they released that statement in their site on tuesday night. They always release information during the daylight hours.

Yes, that will surely come up tonight.
Not sure exactly what else, I suppose that depends on who has what questions etc...but I am planning to talk about:
La Nina - Is it coming?
Lots of Global Warming vs Atlantic specific hurricane activity
Early ideas on the 2007 season
Some final perspectives on 2006
Max's latest press
Hurricane modeling as we get into 2007...
Plus any questions that may come up...
See you at 9PM

Internet Partnership Radio has been transmitting reports from Alabama about the tornadoes in that state.

The server on the IPR site won't load the broadcasting and programming. I'm consistently getting an error message when I click for the live radio.
