Models suggest sub-tropical development?

The GFS in particular is hinting that we might see a vigorous storm develop in the Bahamas in about a week. See the full animation here:

Some of the other globals are also showing low pressure in that area but are not as agressive as the GFS. Water temps are fairly warm in that area- so who know? Might we get some pre-season action to stir things up? Time will tell.

I noticed this also when I was looking at the GFS last night. Could be on the tail end of the front... lingering out there around day 4.

It's gonna be getting to that time of year when the fronts stall out off florida and the Carib.
