March 12th episode: Two more characters appear in Season 6 -- one we have met before in Season 5 and new character. And there is a possibility of a third character showing up, who also appeared last season.

I gotta think that Martha Logan will show up at some point... they did show a picture of them together last night.

I'm pretty sure I know who the new character we haven't met before is. I saw some of the 24 cast interviewed on something (I don't remember what... I've seen several interviews) and this new guy was there too. The timing is right because he's supposed to be in the field with Jack, and well... he just lost over half his crew in that house a few hours ago. I could tell y'all who it is, but I'm not sure if some of you don't want to know. It's not really a secret, but I still don't want to ruffle any feathers.

It will really isn't a big secret. The information came from the TV Guide press release. So did the information about the 2nd character from last year. The third character is just possiblity.

Season 6 is beginning to be a continuation of Season 5.

Kiefer is going to teach army cadets that torture is wrong.

24 star Kiefer Sutherland has accepted an invitation from the U.S. military to teach army cadets it is wrong to torture prisoners.

Sutherland, who plays agent Jack Bauer on the show, has agreed to talk to cadets at the West Point military academy in New York state after army chiefs claimed the show's torture scenes are influencing its newest recruits.

Earlier this month, Brigadier General Patrick Finnegan visited the set of 24 to urge its makers to cut down on torture scenes.

That's a great thing since his show gives the wrong message to the troops according to the Army.

Ok, some real spoilers for next week: DO NOT CLICK if you don't want to be spoiled!!

[spoil]Logan goes to visit Martha (and Pierce, YAY he's back!!) to ask her to call her best friend, Russian first lady. He would like the Russian President to ok a raid on the consulate to free Jack. Martha is less pleased with Logan. After getting in some sort of argument with Logan, she ends up stabbing Logan. She does call the Russian First Lady. The raid is oked and Rick S. character saves Jack. The episode ends with Logan leaving in an ambulance.

I've never watched 24 but this afternoon the show came up as a topic of conversation. My sister in law said her kids swear that my husband and Keifer Sutherland look exactly alike. And coincidently he stopped at a gas station to fill up and the clerk got all excited thinking he was Kiefer Sutherland. Ok...i can handle him being Keifer Sutherland but doggone it....where's the money that Keifer makes? LOL
