These three are my favorites. I just now found these this morning. I had no idea Mark and MWatkins did all this.

It's so cool how fast the clouds move near the eyewall. Next to the wind, it's most fasinating part of the hurricane to watch, IMO. Look at the "Hurricane Charley impacting somewhere in SW Florida" video and watch the clouds, I bet the clouds are moving near 100mph. When Frances stalled along the FL coast, I got to watch the eyewall clouds for hours, very cool.

^^Very awesome video of Hurricane Charley in Punta Gorda. Does anyone care to comment on the wind speeds at about 4:20 into the movie?

I am guessing gusts to between 140 and 170 during the peak of that video (there was a 173mph gust reported in that vicinity during the storm). Very impressive winds for sure. Thank god Charley was a small storm though and did not feature winds like these over a larger area at landfall! That would have been a very bad situation for places like Fort Myers.

90mph sustained with 115 gusts.
The parking lot light poles and small trees would have been gone if the winds were Cat 3 and above. The Cat 3&4 winds were in a very small area.

The radar shows how Disney was just on the NW edge of the eyewall, so though it was bad there..it was even worse on the NE side. However, this is very good footage of what it was like in that area as 80-95mph wind gusts ripped through the Disneyland complex (they were up to 90-110mph gusts on the NE side of the eye), and it gives you a good idea of what category one force winds look like.

BTW: It is incredible that the resort kept it's power during the storm. Way to go Disney!

Though I wouldn't call that a Disney dream vacation, I would call it a nightmare
