For every Pinellas County Resident,
Please go and vote for Penny For Pinellas. It is an extra tax that has built the BaySide Bridge, repaved US-19, built a new courthouse, and has expanded the jail. It also helped build the Pinellas trail.
This is not a new tax, but is going to be renewed for 10 years.

In general, I agree and I am for less taxes. As I mentioned above, however, these 1 penny sales tax add-ons in many Florida counties tend to go to good use like building roads, parks, libraries, etc. Taxes are not always bad. For good examples of taxless societies, check out much of Africa. Heck, we don't even have to go that far: just look at Haiti.
