Hi Jagno. Hope you don't get pounded too badly. So far, our Bear Creek Dome has limited my experience for the day to bouts of decent rain, but nothing severe. Like you, I'm hearing thunder crash all around. Do y'all at least NEED the rain where you're at?

Hi Jen... I know, we didnt get anything too severe, but some of the thunder just a little while ago was pretty loud... I kinda like this rainy weather.... It makes me stay in the house and clean stuff...

another complex setting up to the northwest from about magnolia to bellville moving east-southeast, storms seem to be getting stronger

There have been some reports of pea to dime sized hail in the Houston vicinity from the cell currently moving through down there. However, there is no warning for it at the moment (which is strange since it is obviously right on the "edge" of being severe). Besides that storm, it now looks like another strong cell will be moving in from the NW. This one may also produce some hail..possibly closer to my area and in the northern part of the county. It will be interesting to see if this one gets a warning.

Yankee - you and I must be cut from the same cloth - I just finished vacuuming and doing a general cleanup. LOL!

RE: last night's action, we had water knocking at the back door in 15-20 minutes, and judging by the water level in the pool (rain gauge is trashed) we got a good 4" last night. My mom lives 2 miles from me and she had some marble size hail last night.

Today has been a great day to hole-in and like Yankee said, putter around the house. It's getting darker by the minute and not a puff of wind. Lots of thunder rumbling, but the rain hasn't kicked us just yet.

things are calming down a bit couple of good pops of lightening/thunder, good rain, ditches are full, see alot of ponding on roadways, thundering off to my east and south towards spring, the clouds had a greenish tint too. some small hail during the rain
