This darn pollen

#1 Postby CajunMama » Wed Mar 21, 2007 1:19 pm

I park under a 100+ year old live oak tree. My gold/tan car, which i washed yesterday evening, is now a beautiful shade of lime green thanks to the pollen. I can only imagine what's inside my lungs from this tree. Time to take another Clariton!

Ugh, it's very annoying. I've felt blah all day because of it, and was just out and noticed pollen on all the cars.

My sinuses are acting up today and I have a slight headache that will not go away. Pecan trees are blooming and my red car is green.

cajun, I've got the same thing going here. A certain someone wrote "Yellow Submarine" on my formerly black Mustang.  Experiencing very angry nose-holes, sinuses, and asthma in full swing. Yep, Spring has arrived all righty.

Actually i don't take Claritin. Walmart has a generic brand of non drowsy allergy called Loratadine. It's $2.68/30 tablets compared to $17 for Claratin and it works just as good.

LOL at your "yellow submarine" Jen!

Allergy season will be just around the corner up here in Southern Ontario, perhaps another 5-6 weeks.

Oh yeah, the pollen is horrible! My lovely white SUV now has a pukey-green tint to it. And I am on 4 different allergy medicines just so I can breath and keep from crying all dang day long. I hate pollen season!

My red car is turning yellow, again.... uh-oh.....I'm with Kathy - Loratadine 10 mg., one a day during the
onslaught...it works! Just the plain - forget the "D". Most of us folks on BP meds, thyroid meds, and such
should only get the plain (no "D"). It will help!

Hey, Jen - you got me singing "Yellow Submarine" - ouch ! The tune's in my head, now!
