Fortunately, my cat's appetites have not changed either. I found a few extra cans of IAMS in the cupboard Friday after I went food shopping and tossed them as well.

They say that chronic kidney failure can be subtle - you won't notice it at first. I just hope that they just became finicky about the taste and nothing was wrong with the food.

Boy, this is scary!! :eek:

A blog called Pet Connection has been having readers report any pets that may have died or fallen ill because of the recalled food.

According to their last update, the unofficial death toll was over 1700!
