Steve, it's so good to see you here, again - we've missed you so much! FIVE moves in TEN years?
LOL, tell Kathy that I am truly mixing doubles for the two of you! I am hoping that I can actually
BUY this house, and, put the renting behind me. That's just a waste of so much money - many years
that one could be paying mortgage. I hope that young people see my post. You don't have to be
married to buy a house - don't think that rent is your only option. Buying is always best - and,
you can always sell.

Garrett, LOL, I am going to come to Monet and drag you out of that recliner! I might promise you
a hammock chair on my front porch, you know.... I saved your e-mail addy - I might just
yell at you (in my good 'ole Southern way) some time.

Shannon, I hope to see those pics posted online!

Have a great night, folks!

Hey all - are we putting this topic to rest? Since it's Spring ya know....a little too chilly for the porch but I'm sure this stove is turned off. LOL

I'm taking my first sick day in over 20 years......yep, I'm down with a head and chest cold or viral bug. I feel terrible! No fever though......my boss said to stay home and get better. Since I am serving food at the cafeteria I work at this month (we rotate positions), I think that's a good idea. I don't want to get a bunch of middle schoolers sick!

So now I have a rare day home. The dog will be happy. She hates when I leave home to go off to work. She actually sighs when we all say the word - work. Cute!

Annette - have you moved yet?

Have a nice day everyone.

David you are always having to duck and run. lol.

Miss Mary, I hope you feel better soon. The pollen has reared its ugly head already.

I changed the pot belly stove to front porch. I couldn't remember if that was the actual saying. Let me know so I can fix it.

about wanting to sit in it! :A: J/K Buddy, it's your's when you want it!

Miss Mary, I am still boxing up stuff - I don't have an "official" move date, yet, but my neice,

"We're MOVING!" Then, I'll know to get me backside in gear! I hope you feel better, soon - of
course....and, well, you know that your dear doggie is thinking otherwise... "Stay with ME, mommy!"
My dog knows it's BUSINESS when I go out in my white lab coat...ahhhh..she's gone to for a while....

Ooooh, Daaaaavid......I got chocolate KK's........wanna do a little chore after we indulge in KK's?
(*Pssssst.... there's MORE where those came from.....)

Heya folks! Happy Spring!! Okay this my first time on the porch so ill try to make it out alive  Well its back to work for me today. But I cant sleep oh well. I take an automotive class at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Ms (its a VERY small town I might add). The way our class works is that we actuall goto school for 12 weeks 2 times a year which occure in spring and fall. I ACTUALLY attend a regular class for 8 of those 12 weeks. The other 8 weeks I go to a automotive dealership and they setup a job for you there. After THAT is done its usually Christmas or summertime. During Christmas the dealership can elect you to stay until you go back to school which would be in January. The same thing during the spring semester and you can stay during the summer and go back to school in August. Well, this a 2 year class and im on my last 8 week "work study". I had a week off but now its time again. The bad thing is I drive 420 miles a week and the gas is starting to hurt a bit and my pay is not expeted to go up due to lack of business plus its a Chrysler dealership and Chryslers not doing too well as the big 2 import companies . So I have been doing some hard thinking and making some phone calls and after this 8 weeks is up, I might leave. IF I do decide to leave I plan on getting a temp job as a newspaper delivery guy. They make more money than I do in a month anyway. You only work for 4 hours in the early morning and have the rest of the day off. As I said before IF I do quit and DO become a newspaper guy I plan to attend Meterology courses (a few at a time) at Jackson State University. I can also garuntee 100% I can get in free because im a minority. I always said if working on cars dosent workout, then Ill try weather. See I was told all my life dealerships pay very well. Okay some do and some dont (mine doesnt) and all the other dealerships are really never hiring. If I can take a few classes at a time I can study better and learn more.

Okay wow I made it! Well hope you guys and gals have a wondefull blessed day

Yes, hello Chris/Misshurricane. Sounds as if you have many possibilities awaiting your future! If you do go into Meteorology, you will be in good company here at S2K. Not that I'm a Met (Lord no, extreme amateur here, LOL!) but we have several students. At least!

So welcome to the porch!!!

Where has March gone? Wow.... my flight school is 'flying' by ... yes pun intended. In 6 weeks I'll be back in the MS coast flying. Pretty soon... 'cane season starts!

But... I can't forget the Buffett concert in Dallas on 4/28.
