I'm so sorry to hear that Jeremy. It tugs at my heart to hear that this occured. I will definitely have you and your entire family in my prayers. Take solace that your Aunt failed. I know that sounds wrong, but just know that she is still alive. I know this will be a very emotional time for you, as I have had experiences like this in the past myself. Take some deep breathes, cry if you need to, scream out, it will help. Don't bottle it up inside, it will just make you feel worse. If you need to talk or anything, I'm a PM away, ok?

I did a lot of screaming and crying out this morning. There was nothing else I could do, I just screamed and cried for 4 straight hours.

That is good. Let all the emotions out. Trust me, it will help you in the long run. If you can, see if you can visit your aunt if you feel ready for it. If you don't, then wait. If you do go, hug her tightly if you can. Let her know you love her and care for her. It will help not only you, but your Aunt as well.

Also, see if you can find someone to talk to, someone who will sit there and listen to you. Don't be alone on this. Its very traumatic... find a really good friend or perhaps see a therapist.

*hugs you tightly*

I have an appointment Thursday with my psychologist. So I'm going to go there then.

UPDATE:

We now know the cause and how this happened.

Sometime early this morning, she became extremely depressed and began to cut herself. At the time, she was at the home of one of her closest friends. Well this man (using the term loosely) decided he didn't want to deal with it. He put her in her car and left her to drive herself to the hospital. At some point along the way she crashed her car. I am now more angry than before, but not at her. I'm mad at the man who left her to drive herself to the hospital, knowing FULLY that she was unstable...it's f***ed up.

W...T....F. That's all I can say about that. I'm glad your aunt was able to get the medical attention she needed, but that guy needs to be out of her life if he can't help her at all when she's going through a crisis IMO.
