Severe weather warnings for Europe from Meteoalarm.eu

#1 Postby Yarrah » Fri Mar 23, 2007 10:39 am

Eumetnet, public European weather services network within the World Meteorological Organization, has released a new website today which provides the latest warnings of expected severe weather for the next 48 hours over most of Europe.

Link: http://www.meteoalarm.eu/

It looks like a good way of getting a quick overview of what's going on weather-wise in Europe.

I meant to post this in here several days ago, but I forgot as well. The link was passed around the forecast office. It's a great tool.

Europe is not the kind of place that gets much severe weather, like here in America. Due to the fact that it is generally cooler in climate.

The news just doesn't cross the national boundaries that often, except when it's really severe.
