These trivia questions are WAY too easy.

Tony Bennett has the flu, not performing. So we get Michael Buble.

Michael Buble is sort of this generation's version of Bennett and Sinatra...what Harry Connick, Jr. was to those of us from the 80's.

I just don't get it.

I think I got it last night. It's why Madonna is a star. She can't sing, but she "entertains". Sanjaya isn't the best singer, he has the beginnings of an entertainer. I saw that last night . . the flirting with the crowd, with Paula . . you sorta don't care he can't sing. . . That is what made John Stevens so adorable in Season 3 (note: I don't find Sanjaya adorable and John Stevens sang better).

Gotta hand it to them when they can stand there and sing after that, as emotional as that must be.

This show has lost all credibility. It's not a show looking for someone who can sing anymore. It's teenybopper heaven and how skimpy one can dress to get the votes.

Don't they all do songs like that when they leave -- songs that reflect that they are leaving? Kinda like how on "Dancing With The Stars," they dance to stuff like Wham's "Careless Whisper" -- "I know I'll never dance again...guilty feet have got no rhythm...."

I don't think it has ever been about who can sing the best .. . at least since season 2. You have remember who they are targeting . . 12 yrs -35 yrs. olds. They are the ones who are going the AI albums and go to the concerts. I'm in this target range (towards the higher end). Personally, there are better concerts to save for and better albums to [s]download [/s]buy. I've never bought the winner's CD. I've bought some the runner-ups' CDs, but never the winner.

I think they sing the song they performed the night before, so like if it happened to be some up tempo poppy song she would have sang that.

Aww, I felt bad for her!! She was pretty upset.

*snicker* Okay, if I watched it enough, I might know that. Usually I only watch the auditions and the results shows...and I try not to do that.
