Problems with web page.

#1 Postby SCUBAdude » Sat Apr 07, 2007 9:06 am

Hi all, I've been having trouble getting on to storm2k lately. At least half the time, usually more, I get the page cannot be displayed error. Not just at home but at work as well. Is there a known issue or do I need to start looking locally for the problem?
TIA,
SD.

I have been having the same problem. seems like a DNS issue as when I manually enter them it instantly works but sometimes even that fails. Somebody is having problems with routing tables updating I woukld assume. I have mentioned it to the Admins and they have done everything they can. Your ISP can give you the porper DNS numbers and enter them in your TCP/IP settings.

Adding myself to the pot. I have been having trouble for more than two weeks. Took 15-20 times over the course of the day before I finally got on.

I'll try that but, doubt it is the problem. This is a new computer (2 weeks) and the problem has been happeing before and after I got it set up.

I know that's not my problem because I empty my cache several times a day. I'm pretty sure it's something on that end. Heck... I'm surprised I've been able to get on to post these replies.
But thanks for the suggestion though. That's usually the cause for most browser problems.

75.126.149.247. this is the new IP address. Is that the one you are using. If not add it to your Favorites and delete the old one :)

Could not get on last night at 11:30 pm est though I tried several times until 2 am. I have tried all day today (at least 15 times) and this is the first time I've gotten through. Did everything you ask including the new isp #. Strange!!! But worse yet, if I have this much trouble now what is going to happen come June.

I have the same situation this past weekend. I have to repair the network connection (under properties of your network card), this clear the cache DNS. I resolve the situation by doing this.
