supposedly it is snowing in Huntsville right now and there was a report of sleet in Missouri city. (this info. comes from Channel 11 meteorologist Dan Meador). That is pretty crazy! If the sleet in Missouri City is true (which I believe it is since it came from a meteorologist), then I would say we are all fair game this afternoon to see wintry weather.

any kind of accumulation from the 2 hours of sleet? or did it all just melt instantly?TexasLady wrote:I'm in New Waverly, right at the Walker/Montgomery County line. It sleeted here for about 2 hours. There is no longer any precip falling. My son works in Huntsville, and called about an hour ago, said it was snowing.

I have a bird feeder, and it normaly takes them about 2 or 3 days till I have to re-fill it. I filled it just before dark last night, and I'm going to have to go out before long and fill it again. We have a few baby birds around here, and I would think they have a lot of eggs around to keep warm. and as I type this it's 40.0 here with light rain, and I think I hear a bit of ice hit the window from time to time. Could just be wishfull thinking?
