AP students-Biology majors?

#1 Postby JonathanBelles » Sat Apr 28, 2007 5:52 pm

What Will you be doing the last 2 weeks until the AP exams? My exams are on May 11th (APUSH) and May 14th ( AP BIO) Im fearing the APUSH the most, The APBIo will have the harder essays though. Anxiety has started already.

You meant May 11th and May 14th right? Good luck on both.

I crashed and burned on my AP Exam. Guess what, the world didn't end and my mommy still loved me.

Of course, it would have helped if I actually prepared.

Preparing and studying, obviously.

We're cracking down on multiple choice in AP Chem, FRQ's in AP Calc, and history review in AP Euro. So the teachers are definitely preparing us well. Good news is that I received a 4 on the Calc Mock Exam, so that's a good sign.

you will do fine Fact, I know this! Only nerves can get ya, because I'm sure you know all the work already. So don't worry too much, prepare in the next 2 weeks and you will be successful.
Plus even if it doesnt go according to plan, we still will love ya around these STORM2K parts, so not to worry.

Reading this thread just reminded me of how very glad I am to be out of school. Old age has its benefits after all. :-D

Good luck on that, I stayed away from AP because I had other options, but I dont know if you do/did...

If anyone has heard of Dual Enrollment, its basically like AP, except I pretty much take the classes at a local college (in my case, Valencia Comm. College), or the equivalent at my school and all I have to do is pass the class in general and I get credit for both HS and college...A MUCH better path if its available to you...

LOL, true.

Just do your best, fact. If you do your best, but still fail, your parents will still love you. But I know you can get a 4 or 5.

Does anyone have a more recent Ap Biology scoring guide than 2002? I know they change every year, but I would think the closer I get, the closer the score.

The AP test is a test (which results get sent to the colleges) that AP classes prepare for. It occurs in early May.

My first one is today, wish me luck!

mgc...the students can also get college credit for high scores on their ap tests. Those receiving 4's & 5's in say, history, can get credit for certain history class/classes and not have to take the class in college.
