Looking east this afternoon from Pine Island, gave the impression that something was firing 40-50 miles inland. Would have to have been somewhere between LaBelle and the lake. I didnt see news tonight but someone out there had to have gotten rained on. There definately were thunderheads, as the sea breeze was prevelent most of the day. Good sign at least.

There was rain in Highlands county and SWword. Is that State of emergency for the whole state?
