Many will agree or disagree with what is likely going to be said on this show, but none the less it still looks very interesting. I will be tuning in for sure! It airs tomorrow night at 9pm EDT (8pm CDT) on CNN Headline News' Glenn Beck program.

so far I find this show to be very interesting. It doesn't seem like they are denying GW, but instead they are talking about why the current solutions on the table may not be the right ones. Also, later on they should be talking about media hype and death threats that are coming to scientists who has a different opinion on GW.

wow, this continues to be a very insightful show. The IPCC reports don't sound very reliable to me anymore after watching this. Even lead authors of past IPCC reports are saying that it (the report) is really just an exaggerated document that is politically influenced. Crazy.
FYI: If you did not catch the current showing, there will be a repeat of this show at 9pm EDT/8pm CDT.

I agree global warming is 90 percent the sun + 10 percent maybe from Man. In most of that is the heat island, also the fact that more concrete makes the surface warmer/hotter then grass doe's. Which helps to make the heat island. A story out of Newfoundland shows that the ice is so bad that it is the worst then many years. WOW, in a large part of the food crop this year over the eastern United states has been destroyed. If Solar cycle 24 is as weak as the weaker half of the group out of Bolder Co just reported. In a cooling like the late 70s is coming in the next 10-15 years. If that keeps up over time then we could enter a little ice age.
We will see...The cold area's appear to be very large this year. In double fold in number. Southern Alaska had one of its coldest winters in recorded history. Canada had many a all time record low this winter. Could be the solar min?

I disagree with you, I think that show had plenty of merit. I do not see what is wrong with showing the people that there really is a second side to this debate and that many high-level scientists do not agree with everything shown on the news. People need to know this stuff. All most see is the Al Gore movie and the media hype day after day and some are getting the wrong ideas. BTW, it is not like the show was showcasing non-professionals. Instead, State climatologists, Phd holding scientists and even former IPCC writers were giving their views. The show had a lot of professional backing and was filled with mostly legitimate facts.Regit wrote:Even people who believe Global Warming is natural can't actually think that show had merit.
CNN should be ashamed.

As an aside, there's nothing I've seen in quoted studies that suggests that Solar forcing accounts for 90% of the observed warming. The highest number I've seen is from a study cited by Jean Meeus in a recent issue of Sky and Telescope that suggests a maximum value of 35% for Solar forcing. Other studies are as low as 10% and the IPCC says 7.5%.
