Tornado warnings were up for this cell until almost 3am central time.

This is the storm as it moved into Greensburg.

Saw a report from Greensburg on TWC. Other then the occasional wall, it's just a pile of debris.

The town is basically gone

seeing pictures from Greenburg on TWC. This might be an EF5. It looks comparable to Bridge Creek. :cry:

This is truly a heartbreaking situation. Devastation, block after block. I also can only imagine how violent this storm must have been. Heard about the employees who took shelter in a convenience store's walk in fridge. After the storm passed, there was nothing left standing but the walk in after they opened the door. Thank God they took cover in there!

The scenes coming out of Kansas today are incredibly sad.

Did y'all see the City Administrator, Hewitt in the news conference? Understandably, he doesn't know how his town will recover from this. I believe he said that they were finding more bodies, so expect that 7 to go up. It's just so sad.

Just a slab and rubble remain where a house was destroyed by Friday night's tornado in Greensburg, Kansas.

This has to be the worst tornado since 1999 Moore tornado. I would not be surprised if the death toll rises. :cry:

TWC'S Jorma Doran was on the phone a sec ago. Here are some quotes.

"Nothing in sight even resembles a town"
"Brick, metal, and concrete buildings levelled"
"Cars looked like they've been put through a blender"

Then TWC proceeded to cut him off to show Dr Anna Marie
