Hey, long time no chat! Anyways, a 727 has just vanished in Africa, stolen after takeoff. Now they don't know where it is. As some of you may know, the 727 is a decent sized passenger airliner, with a range of somewhere around 2,000 NM.
Now, they could easily fly that aircraft anywhere in Africa or even to Europe. Alone, a 727 hitting a building could do incredible damage. But this aircraft has been missing for some time, since May, I believe. They have had time to do awful things to this 727, and it is my fear that they may have fitted it with some kind of explosives or even a primitive WMD. Anyone think this has anything to do with the terror alert in Kenya? BTW- the article about the 727 is below...
"Western investigators are seeking a Boeing 727 passenger aircraft that disappeared May 25th under mysterious circumstances from the airport at Luanda, the coastal capital of Angola, Maariv reports. There is concern that terrorist organiations will use the aircraft in a September 11th-style attack.
"The pilots simply switched on the engines and took off," said an air traffic controller. The plane has not been spotted since. "I'm not aware of such an incident in the entire history of civilian aviation," said a US National Security Agency official."

Actually
it had been sitting on the tarmac for over a month with no movement and no activity. Then air traffic controllers tried to contact it as it was just lifing off the runway....needless to say, it's gone. They don't have very good documentation or paperwork in the African nation's airports -and there have been travel advisories to avoid certain carriers for years - but this was just regular neglect. A usual situation. The CIA is on it though...
