What 40 Means

You will realize what 40 means when you realize:
if you keep plucking those gray hairs you’ll be bald before 50,
you aren’t going to bother walking off that extra dessert you had last night,
your kids have started worrying about your health,
twenty year old bodies are for twenty year olds and you don’t have the time, strength, or drive to acquire and keep one,
mini skirts, tank tops, short shorts and two piece swim suits belong on 20 year old bodies,

you are never to old to appreciate a man in tight jeans,
you are actually smarter than your children,
your parents really are smarter than you are,
you are only half way through life,
you still have time to accomplish your goals and dreams,
it is alright that your goals and dreams have changed in the last twenty years,
An IRA or retirement account is a really good thing,
and last but not least,
chocolate cake or a good night’s sleep is often better than sex but-- a little sex is better than no sex at all.
