What bridges and roads are still closed in the aftermath of Ivan and Katrina? I'm actually taking a drive to Florida in a few weeks and I'd like to know what roads to avoid....hopefully the fires will be cleared up or at least cleared away from the Interstates by then.

The only bridge still closed on the MGC is the Biloxi Bay Bridge. I also drove over the new bridge today. God save us if a hurricane destroys this new one, it is quite high....MGC

That bridge won't be open for a while.... I-110 out of biloxi (to I10) will be a bear until Biloxi Bay bridge opens!

Twin spans have been open but good luck going across the erector set. New bridge is just beginning to be built. Hwy 90 still closed...
