Some inconsistencies between the NHC and CPHC regarding Daniel...

EDIT: I've emailed the CPHC about the discrepancies.

CPHC have replied saying they'll check with the NHC. This shouldn't really be happening, should it. There are also inconsistencies in older best-tracks (like for Emilia 1994 - CPHC says Cat 5 while NHC BT says Cat 4)... so hopefully they'll sort it out.

CPHC is the official agency for the central Pacific. NHC is supposed to include the CPHC BT for the CPAC portions of EPAC cyclones

Yeah, so far only Daniel from CPHC.

On that note, the NHC has issued an updated Daniel report to fix Best-track intensities. I guess the CPHC got to them about that :P

The EPac track graphics from the NHC are out, split into two:

Too many are in a similar spot, I guess. The last time they didn't do was 1999. Look at 1997 PHS track map, how cluttered it is.

Hmm, the TD 03C report seems to have a major error...

27 / 0000 11.5 178.4 985 30 "
