Since I can't find a current topic about TWC, thought I'd jump in here. I just saw the Weekend View, with coffee table, couch, knees - all of it! Looked odd.....too much yacking and not enough wx! This isn't a talk show!

Another channel I can do without is the PIN Channel (Public Infomercial Network), or as I like to call it the PINned Network.

A few months ago, my wish came true in a way after Comcast cable replaced it with Shop-At-Home channel. Both of those channels are classified as Leased Acces (Ain't that the truth? )

A few weeks ago, the MoviePlex channel was wiped off the TV listings.

Discovery sucks nowadays. The history channel isn't far behind.

I only watch tv right before going to bed, and I have to find something interesting to fall asleep to..

This is the route I go through:
History Channel -> PBS -> Comedy Central -> Travel Channel -> CSPAN

I think we could be rid of fox news and not lose anything worth while. Headline news also, and 80% of the other news channels programming. They are useful in breaking news situations alone.

I like the E Channel strictly for Howard Stern and only wish the censors would go away. Stupid blur.

I could probably do without the majority of channels since I don't watch that many of them. Specifically I don't need the sports channels, shopping channels, or C-SPAN.

I am a little embarrassed to admit that although I don't watch TWC as much as I used to, it hasn't entirely lost its usefulness to me yet.

Same for the TWC for me. Why is that embarrasing? I watch C-Span every once in a while.

I have to disagree, I have become addicted to Dirty Jobs, Deadliest Catch and Mythbusters.

I like:

Discovery

National Geographic

TNT (great movies during weekends. I got a chance to see Forest Gump recently - a very moving film. It made me smile, laugh and cry.)

GSN (Gameshow Network - but unfortunately my subscription TV package no longer includes it)

I dislike:

Lifetime (a male bashing channel for the most part - unless they have changed their fare lately)

BET (Foul lyrics, scantilly clad women and too much bling, for crying out loud! "Black Entertainment Television" my eye!)

MY favorite channels:
HGTV
TLC
Travel Channel (except for their Haunted shows-- yuck!)
Discovery Home
Food Network
HBO channels
ABC Family (the kids and I enjoy the 7th Heaven re-runs)
Disney Channel
Nickolodeon (morning only, thank you!)
Noggin
PBS
Hallmark
Animal Planet
DH prefers:
ESPN
ESPN2
SportSouth
Fox News
The Outdoor Channel
We could all do without the shopping channels, MTV, Cartoon Network (it would make my life easier-- trying to keep little ones from wanting to watch cartoons that are too old for them), and Lifetime.
