"Lost" Thread-part 3

skip as this may be a spoiler
Michael Emerson was NOT referring to Jacob. He was referring to what the Others are actually fighting. Something far more evil than anything we have seen. Seems as if Ben's lack of action may have just put everyone in danger.
Not sure about the cell phone. I don't think it is an alternative timeline as I believe the producers have stated that there is no time travel.
Also, didn't the spoilers state that we would learn something shocking about Jack's past in the finale? Seems like him already being on the island and the way he made the phone call, extremely callously, and how he wanted Ben to watch makes me think that he is a true "Snake in the Mailbox"

Derek, that is truly one of those..........................."Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmm"! I didn't read the spoilers so those out there....did they say that???? That would be why he said that about his Dad, that he also "knew" Kate and why they got along so well and why she wouldn't just "stick with him" and went to Sawyer. But addicted to drugs???? That is something else...why would he take those? That usually starts after some Major injury, not just for the fun of it. Questions, questions, questions and so long to wait for answers!

Watched it last night, great episode. First, I firmly believe it was a flash forward, because when Kate went to talk to him she said "still pulling people out of flaming wreckages". He said " Seems like I'm making a habit out of it" Plus at the end he said that he wants to go back to the island, he wants to crash again. Plus he mentioned how they were all given gold passess from the airline. As far as his father, he was trying to get more meds and said the script was from his father but when the pharmasist went to call his fathers office he walked away. He obviously forged his fathers name.
Now with the casket, since Jack broke down and cried about it, I am thinking it was Juiliet since no one else liked her but Jack.
Big question, who is on the ship, do we believe ben who is a known liar, or the woman?
And it was great to see ben get the crap beat out of him as well as the rest of the others.

The person in the coffin was probably male. Here is the obit Jack tore out of the paper:

Well after reading through some LOST boards, it appears that Micheal was in the casket. Which would also explain why Kate didn't want to see him nor anyone else. We will have to wait and see though.

Okay, please tell me right now - how do we know a spoiler that will air in Feb. of 2008?
They probably haven't even started filming yet (Season 4)!!!
At one time, Jack cared about Michael. I won't believe it's him. Not yet. The man in the coffin is someone Jack despised. He didn't despise Michael! I think if anything, we were upset Michael turned but you could also understand why (Walt). Ben has just been evil from the get-go. Because it's obvious it's probably Ben fans are posting spoilers like this?

About the newspaper article Jack tore out of the newspaper. It is not a spoiler. Someone isolated the still and blew it up, so they could read the newspaper article Jack was interested in.
Now it is speculation that the man in article = the person in the coffin. Could it be Sawyer, John, Michael, Jacob, Ben or even Jack (in some bizarre parallel universe or alternate timeline twist) under a different name in the coffin? Jack did say he was tired of lying. Were Kate and Sawyer given new identities because of their criminal records? What was the Losties' price for keeping silent? I would expect that the Hanso Corporation were willing to do anything and pay anything to keep what happened on island on the island.
As for spoilers, they haven't even begun writing for next season. I think on one of their podcasts, they said they were going on vacation for a couple months after finale aired.
I've heard some general things about the flashbacks next season. But this is all the spoilers I have read. Most of what is out there is speculation based on finale.
Anyone who has read The Dark Tower, by Stephen King, should recognize this portion of the article:

Hey count me in as well - I don't want to sound biotchy either but I guess I just don't put much stock into spoilers until we get closer to Feb. of '08.
Do you all know, that each day since this finale concluded on Wednesday night - Thursday, Friday and beginning today - Lost infiltrates my thoughts, when I least expect them. I immediately feel sad all over again, about Charlie! As if I just lost a next door neighbor or something. My daughter will even get sad and sigh. All I have to ask is this - Charlie? Yes she says. Funny, how a show just creeps into your everyday way of life and grabs hold of you.
But I have to ask yet again - how in the world are we going to get thru the next 9 months? It's like waiting for a baby to be born!!!! This is going to a looooooonnnnnnggggg pregnancy folks!

My thoughts on the 'flash-forward'........
After I saw Kate and Jack's weird conversation by the runway, I immediatley thought 'what if Jack is having 'premonition-like' visions , the same that Desmond has???? That would make him realize that they should NOT be rescued and make him do the same that Locke is doing and do everything he can to prevent a rescue next season. things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......
RIP CHARLIE

I think we all want this flash forward to be a dream. For me personally, it was hard to see Jack so distraught over returning to civilization. This is not the Jack that many of us love. And for Kate to pick or be forced into another choice, well that could be something Jack is concerned about and obsessing about too. He seems slightly jealous of Sawyer but almost resigned to Kate's attraction to him. I don't know where I'm going with this other than to say seeing Jack in this condition was a complete and utter shock (for this fan anyways).
You picture them all happy and living fulfilled lives or at the very least you think Jack will be! He never did anything criminal....that we know of that is.
As you see my Lost thoughts are all over the place!
