just saw that discussion cycloneye... if you look at the ir sat loop over the area, there is a little bomb of convection that has gone off right over the area they point out... also, you can see a little hint of turning in there as well....wow, this could be interesting the next few days.. could be a bear watch issued later!!!

here is the latest reports from the Carrib.. lowest pressure i found was 1010mb

click on carrib then marine observatrions.... you can also loop the previous reports..
although it appears at least from the limited observations and satellite that there is a closed circulation.

The normally conservative Euro (12Z run) is pointing toward a weak low pressure moving through the Yucatan straits and cranking up toward the Fl panhandle next weekend.
