Jonathan, I'm so very sorry. I know it feels like someone just ripped your heart right out of your chest. You must have some truly wonderful memories to rely on now. He will always be with you. The friendship you shared is so very special. I'm sending you extra big ((HUGS)) I've been thru a very similar tragic situation and you need so much support right now. Please reach out and talk your feelings out. Don't hold anything inside. We love you!!!!

Good advice, IMHO.

John, if you haven't cried yet, you need to. Forget all that junk about men don't cry. My aunt's husband once related to me how awful he felt at his Mom's funeral (to the point of feeling physically ill) until he shed a tear. After that he felt much better.

I think Joan Armatrading states it best in her song Show Some Emotion:
Light up
If you're feeling happy
But if it's bad
Then let those tears roll down

Crying is not a sign of weakness.

I have not stopped since I found out. I wrote a Poem and put it on his myspace.

There's On More Angel In Heaven tonight"

There's one more more angel in heaven tonight
One less good soul here.
There's One more Angel in heaven tonight to comfort all our fears
He looks down upon us in all his good Grace. He reaches down from heaven tonight to wipe the tears from our face. He tells us not to be sad but we miss him because he's gone. But in our Hearts and in our souls him Memory will live on.

Rest in Peace Nappi. I Miss you more than you will ever know. I Love you Your Big Bro Johnny
