Report that the tornado was just south of downtown Wisconsin Rapids. However, the report was about 20 minutes ago.

Unfortunately there are allot of graduation parties going on this time of the month. And while I know many events were canceled/postponed there might of been a few that weren't. *sighs* some people just insist it's "never hit here, it always goes around us, so we have nothing to worry about" I just heard this a couple hours ago from someone. *rolls eyes*

here's an interesting storm report:
NON-TSTM WND DMG 2007-06-07 21:38:00 GMT WAUKESHA WI OTHER FEDERAL FAA TOWER AT MILWAUKEE TIMMERMAN FIELD KMWC REPORTED THAT A SMALL PLANE WAS FLIPPED OVER BY STRONG GRADIENT WINDS.

me either. Just watching (well listening really) to the weather plus. Least with them storm stories isn't going to come on over important weather info *snickers*. I am positive that station will have live coverage if things get bad here (i'm starting to wonder if it really will LOL)

Side note: it's really clouded over the past 20 minutes or so. Even with all the wind the 17 year Cicada infestation has racketed up another notch louder. Wonder if know what's coming. Can you imagine those things are going to turn into 70mph flying little bug bullet! *IUEEE* :18:

Yeah it is a rural, forested area - kinda like where I live (hopefully these supercells won't last another 12 hours!)...

What sites provide info on watches/warnings in Canada? Does anybody have any links?

Oh, and -hail- there are some amazing hail pictures from Wisconsin.

http://www.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca

Their watches and warnings suck - they are not detailed at all and they underestimate a lot. For example, the area in northern Ontario surrounding Lake Superior is under a severe thunderstorm watch when it should be under a PDS tornado watch.

Here is a rather low-quality radar loop of the parent supercell that produced the devastating White Lake tornado about an hour ago. LSR has reports of a kayak driven through a pine tree, with a quarter mile wide path. Not surprising considering this beast of a hook, and attendant SRV at the time. The circulation, which was moving at 50 miles an hour, maintained its intensity for quite a while; I hope we don't start seeing any injury reports coming in, though, frankly, that wouldn't surprise me considering the tornado's apparent strength.

CU developing along dry line in KS and OK... looks like the cap is weakening.

If that cap bursts, then all hell may break loose. The HIGH hasn't exactly busted (after all, that is where the activity is and a MDT would have justified to this point) but the MDT to the south has. So far. That might change though...

Yeah but look at Iowa! the storms are dying. Is it going to be a bust for northern IL? I'm starting to think this severe squall line isn't going to happen.

It might be for you unless new storms form when the line gets closer.
