Impressive TW for early June.

This TW fixing to come off Africa is very impressive. If this continues all season it will be a long one for sure.

I concur; I cant see anything coming out of these waves until sometime in July at the earliest, but I dont remember such well-pronounced waves at such regularity so early in the season. My memory of past seaons could be faulty, though

I agree these waves coming off Africa look impressive and one of these will eventually pop,but I say in July timeframe.

This kind of wave happens every June. But because of the shear they don't develop, nothing is very impressive about it. Worth watching once into the western Caribbean.

Kind of reminds me a bit of 2005. I remember that by July, when the shear was lower, these waves started exploding once they reached the Caribbean. Hopefully we do not see a repeat come this July/August.

June thru the mid to late July is "Poof" season for Tropical Waves coming off of Africa, Aug thru to Late Sept. to Early Oct is "Pop" season......

Yeah they also remind me of the 2005 waves which were really meaty but few really developed before they reached the Caribbean, though as extremeweatherguy said they did explode when they did get there. Thats something tht could happen again given how far above average the SSt's are in the Caribbean at the moment.
