Air Force, what rule says that my opinion has to be based on what you are anyone else says? Its not gonna be that way with me. So in other words, its okay with you if someone resorts to personal attack because my "forecast" doesn't conform to what they would like to see? I didn't think we allowed hazing or "code red's" at this site.

BB, I believe that you may need to edit your post. I am not in the discussion.

I can note a substantial increase in moisture across the Caribbean so far
this week...and I would not be surprised if some of that moisture
makes its way into the GOM. Hence Berwick Bay I think that your
prediction might come true if that moisture can
get into the GOM where the ssts are already very warm.
Now also shear will be an important factor.

You are allowed to post whatever you want. And just like you are allowed to post whatever forecast you want, we are allowed to question its meteorological backing. That is called discussion. If you wanted to be taken more seriously (by some of us), you would be able to support your claims, and not just play the "stop attacking me" card. There are no personal attacks being thrown around here, at all. Hazing? Geez.

You don't have to even discuss it with us; but don't whine and accuse people of attacking you when they aren't.

I'm a big boy, However, if you disagree with my forecasting, then stop using words like ridicule. I haven't seen you use that term with anyone else, and I can only infer that you feel threatened by me. BTW I'm going to hold you to your own words (not your forecast, anyone can have a failed forecast),but when you are first to use the word ridicule, you have to be careful. Especially in this business. Now I would suggest you keep your eyes focused on the Yucutan Penninsula.

Nobody has personally attacked you. Disagreeing with you or you methods is not an attack. Now...if they said that your methods were idiot and stupid...not worthy of discussion because you were a fool...then I would say you would have been attacked. I have not seen that. If you think that what has happened is personal attacks...then I would say you are a very sensative person.

I'd let his forecast play out, then we can go back and critique where he was right or wrong.

At least for the time being, there is nothing going on, IMO, that points to his forecast verifying. I'm looking at the Yuctan area BB, and it is about as tranquil as it can get for this time of the year...

Can we get back on topic? I came to see how the prediction was going and instead, I read 3 pages of arguments. I don't see what I would call personal attacks, but could we all just play a little nicer? Take the OT stuff to PM or something, please. Thanks!

You should have been here to see the bannings back in 04 and 05. Now those were some personal attacks. Cycloneye, the Dolphin and others had to clean it up a bit.
