HUMID! It's been like that all weekend at my house. I'm on the south side of town right now... WOW... It's HUMID.

Mississippi is getting slammed. We're getting pop up showers.

Forecast actually has 3 dry days in it! It's gonna be HOT, HUMID, HELLACIOUS!

HE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LEAGUE CITY HAS ISSUED AN

* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
SOUTHERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY...

* UNTIL 1000 PM CDT

* AT 907 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
PERSISTENT SLOW MOVING CLUSTER OF STORMS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF
MONTGOMERY COUNTY. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL HAS GENERALLY BEEN ALONG
THE INTERSTATE 45 CORRIDOR BETWEEN THE WOODLANDS AND CONROE FOR THE
PAST HALF HOUR WHERE RAINFALL RATES UP TO 2.5 INCHES PER HOUR HAVE

Should we be worried about that massive storm complex in north Texas making it here in 6-12 hours?? It certainly looks quite threatening ATM, that's for sure!

I can't believe we've had thunder and rain since about 3:30 a.m. under the Dome. Great sleeping weather! :D

Channel 11 is saying that the storms from the outflows moving West & Northwest will meet up with the outflows coming from N and W Texas and generate more outflow storms that will move back toward Houston later this afternoon. Any takers?

I'm just glad for a heat break after yesterday's 107 heat indices. NASTY!

I saw lots of lightning & heard a lot of thunder around 2 or 2:30 AM. We still got nothing more than a few drops while just 2 or 3 miles away they had almost 3".

If we can get rid of this morning's cloud shield & get the sun to come out, we just might get a decent round again this afternoon.

I know. 107 degrees heat index. I will not run in those conditions. I just fire up the treadmill and get my mileage in. I hate running on the thing, but I am too young to die. The storms to the west of us are really getting their act together. Could spell trouble for us later today?

I pushed moved my lawn and pushed mowed my ditch lines yesterday evening which took me about 2 hours. My gosh, I was sweating so bad that you could easily ring the sweat out of my shirt. I started getting light headed near the end and knew that I had enough. The air was absolutely suffocating yesterday evening!!!! I don't even remember the last time I sweated that bad. The rain came in as soon as I finished and I just sat on the back porch for about 30 minutes and let the rain cool me off, lightning and all. :cheesy: It sure felt good, that's for sure.

On another note, the storms put on one heck of a lightning display over my house last night. Lots of cc lightning which was very beautiful to watch. A good sould cleanser indeed. I need some more of that!

I got a really nice storm here a bit earlier. 1-2" of rainfall, gusty winds to 20-30mph and lots lightning with sharp thunder. Pretty decent for a storm I didn't expect to see at 11:40am.

We just has a nice thunderstorm (with gusty winds) at our little corner of the world (610 and 45-South). It was equipped with heavy rain, aforementioned gusty winds and nice cloud to ground lightning.

Ok, it is pouring to beat the band here in Spring Branch. We're up over and inch and if it keeps up we are going to be seeing some street flooding. Basically a good ole Tejas thunderstorm!!
