AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSONVILLE FL
235 PM EDT THU JUN 21 2007

.SHORT TERM (TONIGHT-SUN)...WEAK SURFACE LOW IN FLAGLER COUNTY
CONTINUES TO MOVE SOUTH. GFS DRIFTS LOW TO THE SOUTH THIS EVE
THEN WASHES IT OUT FRIDAY. NAM DRIFTS LOW SE OFF THE FL EAST
COAST AND BRINGS IN MUCH DRIER AIR TO THE AREA FRIDAY. HAVE
LEANED TOWARDS THE GFS BUT WILL NOT WASH OUT LOW FRIDAY. WILL
KEEP POPS IN TONIGHT ACROSS NE FL AND DECREASE POPS FRI BUT
WILL KEEP 50 PCT POPS IN ACROSS THE SOUTH AND SILENT 10 TO
THE NORTH. THINK DRIER AIR WILL MAKE IT INTO SE GA BUT NOT
AS FAR SOUTH AS THE NAM. HIGH PRESSURE SFC/ALOFT BUILDS IN
OVER THE WEEKEND BRINGING IN HOTTER AND DRIER CONDITIONS BUT
ENOUGH LOW LEVEL MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY FOR WIDELY SCATTERED
AFTERNOON SHOWERS/TSMS INLAND WHERE SEABREEZES MERGE
