Bone dry the last few days for me. I really, really don't like summer weather here when it DOESN'T rain. I rely on thunderstorms to cool things off for my drive home from work, and evening run.
I have a sneaking feeling that the drought isn't really over, that the rains of the past couple weeks were just brief interludes.

Wow....there is this weird stuff coming from the sky! Oh wait - that's rain. yipeeeee!!!!
It hasn't rained this good in I don't remember how long. Nice shower for the past 15 minutes or so. I can hear the plants sighing in here.
EDIT - checked the calendar Barry was our last rainmaker. Sure seems like its been longer than that.
