Re: My Compilation of Hurricane Links
I just revised my link to the CPC's MJO (Madden-Julian Oscillation) web site:
http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/p ... /mjo.shtml
There's a real nice Expert Discussion section on this page in PowerPoint and PDF format. Here's the PowerPoint format (requires MS PowerPoint or the free PowerPoint viewer. They really go through what's happening out there an what the forecast entails:
http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/p ... update.ppt (PPT version)
http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/p ... update.pdf (PDF version)
Finally, I made an MJO web page years ago that explains MJO in layman's terms:
http://myweb.cableone.net/nolasue/mjo
