You can see circulation here, looks like it is centered south of Austin and east of San Antonio and maybe moving a bit north.
Is there a low level turning?

I believe that's the upper low that has been giving us a lot of rain lately. I think the (slight) concern is the surface low in the GOM.

Zooming back to the entire Texas state view shows the circulation also.

OK, I understand that. Looks like there's a Low on the coast between Corpus Christi and Brownsville. Perhaps the ULL to the northwest will enhance its possibility of development?

Well, I still don't see where anything is potentially organizing in the Western GOM. But that being said, its never good to see this concentration of convection occupying a sector of the GOM for days on end like we're seeing now. Here in Lafayette, La. were on the east end of this. Storms move up off the Texas Coast and roll over us every day now. This tends to happen about early morning to mid day, then it quiets down in late afternoon. Last night we were able to catch the local symphony and fireworks downtown before rain came back again afte midnight.

BB; I'm gonna go ahead and start on that ark because if this keeps up we will need it. The grounds are soooo soggy and muddy. My 4-runner started sliding towards the side while backing out of my sons gravel driveway yesterday and it stopped about 1/2" from a utility pole near his driveway. Even my raised bed gardens are showing signs of too much water. Thank God the really big storms appear to explode just west of here along the Texas coast and lose much of it's strength by the time it reaches us. No offense to my Texas neighbors!
Isn't there another low pressure system right behind this one (north)?

Jagno, the 4th must have been a total washout for you guys. I take it you live west of Lake Charles, maybe around Sulphur or even Vinton?? But anyway it looks like your "scheduled" for more today. That upper level low in Texas thats bringing the moisture in out of the Gulf, just doesn't appear to be going anywhere. As far as another low "to the north", well I haven't heard.

We can use that Texas rain right on top of Lake Okeechobee about now.
