Re: S2K Weather Acronyms
One of you submitted ATTM for "at this time", thus shortening it to four letters. I think this acronym is unnecessary. I can shorten "at this time" to three letters: "now".
Same for ITTF, "in this time frame", or ITPTF, "in the present time frame". Both are "now".

Re: S2K Weather Acronyms
It's remarkable that some key cyclogenesis terms have been overlooked. Here's one example.
MCS - Mesoscale Convective System

Re: S2K Weather Acronyms
How about "cane" for a hurricane or "fish" for fishspinner, meaning a tropical cyclone that does not hit land? As in "It looked like Quincy was going to threaten the GOM, but instead this cane went fish."

WADL - West African Disturbance Line

Scott... actually Extrapolated is EXTRAP.
On the SFWMD model maps, XTRAP is used as the abbreviation.
Thanks guys. Yep, I am finding both abbreviations. Being as this list is created as a learning tool I will simply place both abbreviations on the next list update.
On a side note I have been unable to find the definition of the acronym...GFL... A little help, please?
Thanks,
Scott
