They're saying they could be as bad as the floods in October this past year! Some of you may recall those floods had me out of my home for over a week. Here's the thread, along with some pics... http://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=90725
As mentioned in the article below, people are still rebuilding from the terrible flooding in October.
Surely not that bad! It's just a little hard to believe.
Anyway, here's the article on KFDM:

Flood Warning from Hardin County Leaders to Residents
Ashley Rodrigue
July 11, 2007 - 10:42PM
A warning tonight for residents of Hardin County. County leaders say be prepared for the possibility of heavy flooding in the coming days.
"If you wanna see where the water was, there's the water mark."
That three and a half foot tall water mark is the only visible reminder Audie Milner has left of the flood his house and family survived last October.
Milner said back in October, "You have your own private lake or swimming pool."
But the 'memories' from that flood are still fresh in his 'mind'.
"We ripped out every outside wall," he said, "Every inside wall we cut four feet up."
Milner says he expects the flood repairs on his Lumberton home to take another six to eight weeks... but Hardin County leaders say he may want to focus more on flood preparations instead.
"We're not hollering wolf," said Hardin County Judge Billy Caraway, "We're wanting basically to let people know this is a strong possibility what could happen to them."
Hardin County Judge Billy Caraway says the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers warned him the county may be in danger of floods like those in October starting at the beginning of next week. That's when the corps expects heavy flood waters from the Fort Worth area to drain into our local rivers and lakes.
Caraway said, "That means that our rivers and lakes are already up and its gonna put more strain on them to carry out the water so if we get additional rains on top of that then we're probably going to get some flooding."
Caraway says he's getting the word out now so people can prepare for the worst...
"We're keeping our fingers crossed..."
and hope for the best... but for Milner...
"We just started putting up doors today."
...work 'will' go on.
Judge Caraway says his office will be on alert starting Sunday for any flooding problems that may occur.
