Morning everyone

Raine -- Dakota remains in our thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear he is able to keep something (even if it is popsicles and juice boxes) down.

Have fun at Sam's Club Sandi. I won't mention that we don't have one of those either... oops! :o Guess I already did. Sometimes I get sick and tired of living in small town USA! ;)

Well I need to get around here in a few minutes and make something of myself today.

Everyone enjoy your Saturday!

We are getting Walgreen's, but we have mostly CVS, Rite aid and Eckerd's.

Well, another drizzly Saturday morning here. I must admit, we were blessed last weekend with beautiful weather, though we did have some mean storms come through last Thursday, Friday and Saturday. so far we are at 7.5" or precip for the month. The record is just over 10". I don't know if we'll make that or not. All next week we're headed right for summer - upper 80's and 90's!

Marty's foot is doing well, and Derby is doing well also.

Not much happening for the weekend - probably catching up on cleaning and those WONDERFUL afternoon naps!!!

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning!

Whew, whatta morning, a million things to do and so very little time! I've been up since 0430 this a.m. and I'm STILL behind  We've got a FULL schedule today, the party for the 1st Anniversary of the Evacuation, the crusade tonight, a honeydo list "2" pages long, watering the lawn, I know, I know...."waaa, waaa, waaa!" :P

I sent some of you photos this morning of my *pet elk* Bernie and Ernie were just outside the backdoor this morning around 0530, kinda caught me by surprise, I ran back in for the camera and snapped a quick photo or 2 before they saw me, still amazes me.........elk in my backyard!

Raine, rest assured, your little man will remain in our prayers for as long as it takes. NOW.........listen here lady, WE men DON'T WHINE, SNIVEL when we're sick  "Phhhft!" LOL! YES........I'll admit, I'm a pain in the butt when I'm sick, I'm man enough to admit it. It's true, there's times I don't know when Michelle is sick, she NEVER complains, can you believe that, a woman that DOESN'T complain  Uh huh, right!

Well, off to points unknown, make it a great day would ya's?

That is okay David... getting up early is good for you! Sounds like you will win the S2K Golf Championship again today. ;)

Enjoy your trip to Colorado and I expect a full report from you when you get back. By the way... do you get to send a postcard to you know who?

First trule nice day in a while. Temps in the mid-70s and a few clouds here and there. I mowed the whole lawn today and it looks very nice. I haven't mowed the whole thing at one time in a long time (due to the rain and other activites).

Evening everyone! I thought I would take a few minutes just to relax on the front porch. I see an empty KK Box torn to pieces so I assume Crouton has been here.

We put some concrete down in the holes so now my deck is officially complete. I am excited. I had a little bit of help, but I am proud of it! Now if any snakes try to get in the pool I can just jump up onto the deck. ;)

Looks like summer is here for a few days. Glad to see it arriving on schedule. It is rare that it ever happens that way, but it did this time.

Everyone enjoy their Saturday evening. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with many -- including those who have been affected by the fires in AZ.

Morning everyone --

Have a safe trip and Godspeed David!

I had trouble accessing the site last night after I left chat so I just wanted to let ya'll know that a kid that I went to high school went and knew on an aquantance level was killed in a car accident last night... in all places -- the WalMart parking lot! :o If ya'll could say a few prayers for DJ's family. Thanks!

I'll set some fresh squeezed lemonade out since it looks to be pretty warm across much of the nation's front porches today! ;)

Enjoy your Sunday,

Good Morning!

Whatta day that was! A very touching dedication to Rick Lupe from the Gov. of Az, Jannet Napolitono.

Garret, rest assured DJ's family will be in our prayers, how tragic. Congrats on the new deck, that's on my list of things to do in the next month, we've yet to build a back porch on the kinda new house LOL! So much to do, so little time *sigh*

Have fun on your trip David, I "LOVE" road trips, anywhere, anytime.

Hi ya Tom! How's things in soggy Florida? God, I'd give ANYTHING to see a little rain..........soon let's hope!

The Harvest Crusade finished with a BANG! Very touching indeed, once again, if y'all ever get the chance to attend the Crusade, by all means, GO......you'll be so blessed!

How sad.......sounds like the whole state is on fire once again. The smoke from ALL the fires in the state seems to be drifting into the White Mountains, talk about sitting on the edge of your chair, we get a wiff of smoke and start scanning the mountains and the horizon for a fire here. Today is the first anniversary of us leaving town, we stayed up all night, listening to the radio on the 21st of June last year then at 0600 or there abouts the EBS tone came over the radio (emergency broadcast system) and told us we had 1 hour to evac the towns of Pinetop, Lakeside, Hondah, McNary......Show Low had been evac'd the night before. Now, everytime I hear the radio testing the EBS..........it get a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach thinking, "Oh God, NOT again!"

Well good folks, it's about time to visit His house, make it a great day would ya?

David - Colorado Springs? That's where my Dad lives! It's a beautiful city being right up against the Front Range. Pikes Peak can be viewed everywhere. If you ever get a chance, there's a zoo called the "Cheyenne Mountain Zoo" on Cheyenne Mountain. It's really nice and clean. Have a great trip!

The sun is actually peaking out this morning. All next week it's going to be sunny and warm. I have some cleaning to do first but I'm going to try to get outside for alittle bit. Yesterday for the first day of summer, we barely reached 70 degrees. Today it supposed to go to 75. It's an improvement!

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

Afternoon everyone. Glad to see some improvement in your weather Stephanie.

Dennis -- the EBS thing scares me now too since the tornadoes came through. It is one of those things that you may never completely recover from. I don't think I will. Stay safe. ;)

The last two days it rained... a LOT! Other than that and even in spite of it, great time, but was definitely in s2k withdrawal! Had way too much sun in some spots but hey, what is a Florida vacation without sunburn *LOL*?
