I just saw...
The biggest cotton-ball type clouds and I remember reading a post about these clouds being seen just before a big one...can someone please let me know if this is FACT of MYTH???? Thanks!!!

Those are cumulus -- fair weather clouds. The idea that they have any correlation to a hurricane strike at some point in the near future is ludicrous at best. If you're looking for a somewhat more reliable sign of an incoming storm, I recommend keeping an eye out for unusual animal behavior. Animals have very advanced instincts, and can sense small atmospheric changes leading up to a storm. I've heard hundreds of reports of nervous or seemingly depressed behavior in dogs and cats; and a mass exodus of birds, squirrels and other small animals seems to be a recurring element as well. They also knew to head for the hills in the minutes preceding the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004.
Of course, a hurricane warning and numerous squall lines are also pretty damn good indicators, but you might be looking for something with a bit more lead time.

Yes they are pretty impressive. Those clouds surrounding the eye looked like cotton balls. I also noticed the clouds seem to be hanging close to the water while they are rotating.
