It was scary for awhile today. Tree limbs falling and a mess to clean up. My avocado tree is leaning sideways. Across the street large limbs fell in our neighbors yard. Thank God it missed her roof which still has blue tarp from 2004.

To in my family have been hit ...I love to watch it but I'm also terrified of it....Early rumbles happing right now...Just a little cell looks like it might just miss us...

Update - just heard this on the local news. 16 yr old boy and his mom. He is in critical condition.

16yo male and his mother were running for shelter when lightning struck a few paces behind the two and they both went flying. The boy was knocked unconscience and was given immediate CPR from other beach goers until the ambulance arrived. The two were taken to the local hospital where the male is marked in critical and the mother's condition is unknown.
