This discussion is political by nature. Why wouldn't we be allowed to bring politics into it? Almost every post about the NHC/Proenza deal has brought politics into it, whether it's from the right or the left... How is this not political? It is about people losing or keeping their jobs in government positions, depending on what they say to politicians. There's been testimony in front of Congress. That's political by nature, no?

No, what I am talking about is any discussions that lead to the dems or the republicans, blah, blah, blah, or Bush blah blah balh. It isn't about that!! Yes I understand the "political" nature of it all too well, but we are not going to get into that here.

Just because this is a congressional hearing, doesn't mean it has to be a "political" discussion.

Alright, I see where you are coming from. But, I really don't see where I went wrong...I do not think I am playing innocent...I do not think I insulted him by stating who he supports. I even did not mention his name when I commented "I will not name this person" just to be extra paranoidingly defensively safe to a over-sensitive issue. All I said was that I wanted to know why he supported the removal of Proenza...he probably knows more about the situation then I do so I wanted him to share his insights with me. I seriously don't see where I insulted him. If he felt insulted, then I appologize to him.

This is the last comment I make in this thread. The tropics are going to start getting active soon and I want to stop arguing for Proenza's sake...I will just take it simple and think about the law of karma I guess.

No, he was wrong. The rules of this board forbid personal attacks on other members. That applies no matter who the attacked member is. In contrast to his claim above, Complacency called out Derek by name twice - the second time after he was warned.

You don't have all the facts, Shrimper. Don't assume that you do.
