Invest 97L dead.??. LOL ..take a look..seriously

#1 Postby Aric Dunn » Mon Jul 23, 2007 7:51 pm

there has been a blow up... over the center.. of that thing.. this evening..

use this link http://weather.msfc.nasa.gov/GOES/goeseastconus.html .. and near the bottom where it says " Enter X location (0-531):[482] Enter Y location (0-442):[151]... put the numbers "482" for X and "151" for Y..

and make sure you set it to animate.. and do 30 images... and 100% quality if you like.. then click the "extrack sub image button

you can clearly .. i mean clearly.. see the center..(and not the little rotating around the big one) then the big burst of convection..

i would says its a depression.. right now or very close..

well i had a look and it is a nice blow up

as you can see it did go over a rather warm pocket of water compared to what it had been in earlier and i'm guessing shear probably lowered temporarily

viewtopic.php?f=31&t=93060&start=280

i haven't watched this for over a day, but i guess it is confirmed to be a surface low?

this are better X and Y values.. (X=474 Y=154)

you have to run this loop.. if you have not.. 30 images..

I didn't do the first one, I'm running off dial-up right now, but I did look at the second loop. I'll go ahead and check the first loop out.

who ever is going to to do the loop.. needs to do it.. before.. too many new images come..
becasue it is night.. and every new image gets rid of the remaining visible..
