I don't know if it's the same one or not but It was tracking NW and should be where this mid level/low turning is. 15.5 N 82.5 W

I wrote yesterday Morning.
I did notice a little mid-level rotation down there that doesn't seem to be from a collapsing T-storm I don't see how it gets drawn that far north though. But a large trough lifting out to the North, I guess it deserves a wait see.

This evening's Carribean IR Imagery shows this area of most concern (our wave in W Carib) along with the most recent wave to enter the E Carrib. and the showers still lingering in the W Atlantic south of Bermuda.

Which local mets. conditions are unfavorable right now in the Atlantic specifically the Western Atlantic.

Is this area moving NW? Are we talking about the spot that looks like its heading between Cuba and the Yucatan? The same disturbed area that was just south of Cuba yesterday?

Not saying this will develop or conditions are favorable, but your comment puzzled me. What does conditions in the Western Atlantic have to do with the Western Caribbean? I do see on the shear tendency map that their is increasing shear tendancy for the Western Carribbean, especially close to the Yucatan channel, is this what you are referring too?

watch the area south of Jamaica.. close today.. there appears to be a bit more concentrated convection and.. there is pretty discernible curvature.. little more than yesterday the trade wind in the carrib and relaxed alot.. which is why i think there should be some renewed interest.. .. as it reaches the NW carrib... later to and tomorrow..

if nothing happen then it will cross into the BOC and into mexico without any fan fair.. but if it keeps up today ... it may get interesting..

Actually I meant to say the Caribbean not the Atlantic oops.
