We'll to have to wait to see if convection persists.But overall convection has indeed been on the increase with the wave.

Actually, I think 93L looked better, but this is probably the best-looking wave since then.

the 156 hour forecast from the gfs is liking it even more.. Hasn't deepened anything like this so far this season as far as I know

There is clearly a developing low attached to the ITZC near (Latitude= 12.31° N Longitude= 29.54° W )

looks fairly good its just attached to the ITCZ

oh and im not talking about the large spin to the clounds further west!
its near the area with the only convection on the right side of the satelite loop.

Wow! The 12Z GFS develops two systems, a hurricane and tropical storm in the Atlantic over the next two weeks. Things look to get active very soon. The storm off the Carolina coast is this current east Atlantic system.

I was telling NY Phil last night that the area was indicating.

I see a possible circulation at 12.3N-30W headed WNW.


Also see possible ULL drilling down at 32N-54W (uncertain)

it should stay on a fairly west track for a couple of days
maybe even a slight wsw drift for a time
im not going to speculate on the track of anything after two days it can change a lot
