I remember Chaz like it was yesterday. My camera battery died minutes before the hurricane ramped up... GAH! It won't happen again.

Yeah i remember Charley very well, it was the first hurricane I tracked (living in the UK i hadn't cared too much about them) and to see it power-up like it did was amazing and rather worrying knowing it was heading inland and thewn it made that turn that wad'nt really expected. That hurricane got me utterly hooked on hurricanes!

Still that is an awesome video, amazing power between 1.56-2.00 mins!

WOW. Incredible video.

Gives me some idea of what my aunt went through in Wauchula. I remember her telling me about all the stuff flying through the air - she didn't know where it was all coming from. (she lives in the country and doesn't have a lot around her)
Come to find out it was her calving barn and feed shed and part of a trailer from who knows where.
