Pictures of a nasty thunderstorm, Gilchrist County Florida,
One of the highlights of my trip. I couldn't get pics or video during the peak of the action. The rain only allowed a couple hundreds yards of visibility (it was one of the hardest downpours I've ever seen) and the lightning was striking about 100 yards away, it wasn't worth the risk. Believe me, if it scares me inside, it's bad, I usually stay out as long as I can.

we have had quite a few this week and last of that intensity here as well. Seems they have been worse than I remember in the last few years here.
