It was posted on Weather Underground. Maybe this explains it (still unusually low):

urgent - immediate broadcast requested
Severe Thunderstorm Watch number 599
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
1250 PM EDT Sat Jul 28 2007

The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

northern Florida
southeast Georgia
Southern South Carolina
coastal waters

Effective this Saturday afternoon and evening from 1250 PM until
800 PM EDT.

Hail to 2 inches in diameter... thunderstorm wind gusts to 70
mph... and dangerous lightning are possible in these areas.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch area is approximately along and 75
statute miles either side of a line from 40 miles north northwest
of Savannah Georgia to 45 miles south southeast of Ocala Florida.
For a complete depiction of the watch see the associated watch
outline update (wous64 kwns wou9).

Remember... a Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally
do produce tornadoes.

Other watch information... continue... ww 558...

Discussion... axis of strong to locally extreme instability will fuel
intense tstm development across these areas this afternoon. Storm
coverage and duration may be enhanced/sustained by large scale
diffluent flow aloft associated with decaying MCS/MCV tracking sewd
from GA. Several robust storms/multicell clusters and storm
interactions should increase the potential for large hail and
damaging winds.

Aviation... a few severe thunderstorms with hail surface and aloft
to 2 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 60
knots. A few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 500. Mean storm
motion vector 34015.

 Really, I have nothing to do with it. But this unusually low, I'd say. Maybe error, maybe not.

The pressure has indeed dropped:
http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin ... burg%2C+fl

Scroll down to the personal weather stations...multiple
stations reporting pressures in the 29.70-29.80 range
and 1009 mb-1012 mb range. That could mean something...

I don't know about 1003 mb that might be near a
microburst of some sort...

I don't have a barometer. I rely on the NWS for pressure reports.

If this persisit, things could get interesting rather quickly. There has been off and on model support for development in the GOM and shear values are suppose to improve.

With the trough getting stuck there a system might try to
form...shear is forecasted to decrease...and with the
warm GOM waters something could easily develop
if this area were to persist...So it needs to be
watched closely.

29.50!!! Oh wait a minute, I forgot to turn the exhaust fan off in my bathroom (indoor barometer).

Seriously I hope the swirl in the current Satellite imagery is just an illusion.

I would expect that convection increases:
-shear is forecasted to lessen
-heat content is high
-moisture is available

Yea, I noticed a bit of a swirl down in that complex in the GOM too. UL winds should start to relax as the ULL over Texas retrogrades. Hope it dies down, I want a TC free GOM the rest of the season...MGC

Conditions appear to becoming very favorable for development.

Most of the convection is concentrated in the
southeastern gulf of mexico:

We'll see what happens.
