2 months of quietness and when July 31 gets here...BAM. I have a feeling the names are going to start falling at a faster pace.

Why do we all feel such a sense of accomplishment? Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? It's like we're the Atlantic, and we've been training for two months. And finally we got a storm. Or Am I just completely crazy, yeah I'll go with that.

I want to know who made this decision, especially given this:

30/2345 UTC 35.4N 65.9W EXTRATROPICAL 98L

Not bashing, but I thought we named tropical or subtropical systems, not extratropical ones.

SAB isn't everything. TAFB could've analysed it as tropical.

Cyclone we are probably all a little crazy. But the craziness may be enough to keep our friends, families, and neighbors alert to need to always be vigilant.

That's just a satellite estimate based on the appearence of the system, not based on real observations.

Well there aren't really any real observations. The different branches may have a different opinion on the structure.
