Right now I'd say no.

On a related subject, can anybody sum up what has happened in the Atlantic and maybe the Epac over the past 4 days? What happened with all those model runs showing a system off Africa? Does Invest 99L have anything to do with that? Where did Invest 98L come from?

If you're on Sovereign of the Seas, I'd just worry about trying out the midnight chocolate buffet.

Also, the pizza on deck 12 is great.

My parents went on Sovereign of the Seas out of Port C to the Bahamas about 3 weeks ago...sounds like same itinerary as you are doing...they had a great time...loved the ship (apparently Royal Caribbean did alot of renovations to make this ship top notch)...and loved the destinations...they can't wait to go again!

The only thing you should worry about are the "land sharks" at the bar.
Bring lots of sunscreen and enjoy!

Well we hit a horrible storm when I was on Sovereign. It's an enormous ship and it doesn't move a whole lot.

One tip though, during the storm the people who got sick were the ones who'd been drinking like fish the whole time. So just try to stay sober and it should help.

I was onboard Explorer of the Seas last December and we hit some pretty big swells in the Florida Straights coming back home from Grand Cayman. I'm talking 15' to 20' footers. It was a heck of a ride but the ship took it well. This time of year you should have nothing to worry about as long as nothing is brewing in the tropics. I even went offshore in my 21' open fisherman a couple of weeks ago and ran out almost 15 miles. Ocean was as calm as a lake.
